On Well-being

On life · 2018 · by Gui Perdrix

The last days, I’ve had a tremendous amount of downs, although I’m probably at the best place I could be in ages. Around me is nature, my best friend, financial possibilities, utilities for improving myself and my physical well-being, people with a corazon de size of an avocado, and yet there are times that I’m seeing the dark.

Here are my key learnings from a few days ago:

Know that this is TEMPORARY - you break the spiral of hell.

Feel NEEDED - call your friends Feel RHYTHM - listen to music Feel ENERGY - move and take a cold shower Feel SELF-EXPRESSION - write and think Feel DIVERSITY - go out and have your own space Feel ACCOMPLISHED - do you responsibilities

Today, I woke up after five hours and felt refreshed. I started my day with meditating and making beautiful baked avocados. In fact, I totally accomplished my morning routine. And then I sat down, started working, and was drawn by the amount of work.

Second, I received a disappointing email which put me in a bad mood. This was reinforced by my vision of negativity, and the spiral of hell was created.

On one side, I’m proud of myself because I continued working despite my negative mood. On the other side, I was not able to be clear-headed and at least being non-emotional. Thank God I started talking to a friend, who brought me back up and set the right intentions for my life.

So what can I do so that this does not happen again?

Catch the AVOCADO sooner and talk about it If it is something exterior - approach the problem with LOVE Remind yourself that those problems are FREELY chosen Remind yourself that you chose more problems that you can solve: the point is to MOVE ON, not to reach them all; and if you reach them all, then you’re a fucking badass
