Hey all,
I know a lot of you know me more from the coliving scene. Others know me from the startup scene. Some as a DJ.
But in the last two months, I’ve been publishing quite a bit about one topic: AI.
Yes, my goal is to launch my AI educational startup, Timeback, which is focused on educating businesses, entrepreneurs, and digital workers on how to use Claude to have a digital cofounder and build their team of agents.
Helping people to go from using maybe 10% of what AI can do to 90% in the shortest amount of time. An AI setup that saves you time, helps you create better output, and helps you do it faster.
But my relationship with AI wasn’t always positive.
It actually started a long time ago.
Today, I’d like to share how I got to this new focus of mine, what is grabbing my attention in the scene and how you can adopt AI in your work and workflows.
When AI Turned From Idea Into Digital Cofounder
In 2015, I moved to Los Angeles for an exchange year at USC. I was studying political science and leadership, but on top of that, I was also trying to build my own startup.

Me with long hair in LA (not sure what I was doing but it seems catchy!)
Being surrounded by tech entrepreneurs, thinkers and geeks, I started being curious about the future of humanity, and the impact of technology on it.
Asking myself the question:
What are the biggest threats to humanity?
AI always made it in the top three threats.
So I started digging into the subject and read for example Nick Bostrom’s Superintelligence book, which was already exposing the threats and risks that AI can have, especially AGI.
But at the time, it still felt like a distant reality.
A distant future.
Then over the last decade, life led me to other adventures, especially in the coliving scene.
Until AI came strongly back into my life this year - with the adoption of systems such as OpenClaw and Claude that radically transformed the way I work.
And so I got close to AI again - but this time, not only thinking about it, but using it and creating my own systems with it.
And I love (using) it. AI has fundamentally helped me spend more time on my genius zones and where I truly matter - and empowers me as a (so far small) entrepreneur.
And yet, I’m very aware of the (potential and highly probable) challenging implications it is going to have on humans, on the job market, on education, on wealth inequality.
Between relief and concern lies the truth that I personally won’t be able to stop AI from growing and improving. And that we better adopt it if we want to remain relevant in our economical society. The AI train started and I don’t see how it will stop.
But what’s truly in our control is how to adopt it.
In a way that serves us.
In a way that reduces screen time.
In a way that promotes a healthier way of living and working.
That’s the big challenge for me. And that’s where I want to leave an impact.
And that’s also why I also decided to restart this weekly newsletter. Once a week on Sunday, I’ll share what I’ve gone through, what I’ve created, what I’ve learned, and what right now is occupying my mind or catching my attention.
I hope you enjoy it !
On Anthropic and Claude
One thing that has really caught my attention recently is Anthropic.
Anthropic is becoming one of the big players in AI.
They are known for Claude, Claude Code, and more recently Claude’s agentic capabilities, which have been getting a lot of hype.
And I understand why.
From the big players, Anthropic seems to be one of the more value-driven companies out there.
They have rejected the usage of their models in military actions, including automated killings.
They have also included a constitution into Claude’s infrastructure, with principles that include human rights.
Recently, some of the biggest names in Silicon Valley AI have joined Anthropic.
And what surprised me the most is that since its creation in 2021, I believe, none of the original seven co-founders have left the company.
Which, to me, is a very good sign of internal company culture and retention.
Whether the company has a chance against Google, I’m not sure. But it’s great to see an underdog taking the lead.
I highly recommend checking out the 45-minute documentary that just came out about the company.
If you have thoughts about Anthropic, I’d love to hear them.
Developing My Own AI System
Last month, I’ve been digging deep into Claude, different use cases, and different ways of using it. I’ve worked with top UpWork freelancers to dig into the limitations I was perceiving - my goal being that using Claude should be intuitive.
And I finally figured out my ideal way to use it.
One that is
- Seamless.
- Voice-first.
- Mobile-friendly.
- Agentic.
- Team-oriented.
I call it TimebackOS.
I’m really excited that it is becoming the core of our next Timeback Bootcamp - where we will be teaching a system.
And, for which we are building an individualized experience with the help of AI.
AI is going to recommend to each participant which workflows they should implement, and how to implement them.
And that’s really the power of AI.
There is no way that two or three years ago, I would have been able to create a whole educational platform powered by our own tech product.
Now, it’s possible with 90€/month.
It’s insane.
To give you an understanding of what we set up, I’m going to host two free webinars next week to show you the backend.
One Hour to Become an AI Power User
The idea is simple.
Give me one hour, and I’ll show you how I actually use Claude in my own work.
Not in a “here are 50 random prompts” kind of way.
More like:
- How do you set up Claude so it becomes part of the way you work every day?
- How do you use it across phone and desktop?
- How do you create a memory layer so it knows who you are, how you work, your clients, your goals, and your voice?
- How do you use it to write messages, posts, newsletters, proposals, reports, and on-brand assets without spending hours editing drafts that don’t sound like you?
- How do you use it to plan your week, manage tasks, prepare decisions, and take over some of the workflows that normally drain your time?
This is really what changed my way of working.
Claude is not hard to use.
But most people are still using it like a chat window.
The real shift happens when you install the right setup, the right context, the right projects, the right skills, and the right routines.
That’s when it starts becoming less like “AI help” and more like a digital co-founder.
In the webinar, I’ll show:
- How I use Claude as my central operating system
- When to use Chat, Cowork, or Code
- How Projects and Skills actually work
- How I use Claude in a seamless way across my work
- What workflows AI is already taking over for me
- What is possible in 2026, from simple workflows to automated agents
I’ll also show real examples, like client proposals, dashboards, SEO audits, morning briefings, and the kind of workflows I now use inside Timeback.

There are two sessions, both on Zoom, Lisbon time:
I’m hosting the same webinar twice, so you can pick the time that works best for you.
Option 1: Saturday 20 June - 11:00 Paris / 17:00 Singapore time
Option 2: Tuesday 23 June - 18:30 Paris / 12:30 New York time
Both sessions are live on Zoom and free to attend.
If you feel like AI is powerful but you’re still only using 10% of what it can do, this is exactly what I want to help you change.
Quote of the Week
“One day you’ll understand that it’s harder to be kind than clever.” - Jeff Bezos*
*Whether he himself actually understands the quote is another story.
Song and DJ set of the Week
Last month I went to Madeira where I played an epic set!
The first two thirds were melodic techno. Then the last third went into 135 BPM trance, tribal trance… and oh my gosh, it was so good. What a vibe! Enjoy this one.
And here’s my song of the week:
Wishing you a great second half of June ahead,
Gui
